Jonathan Kruth Obituary (1976 - 2018)

JONATHAN DAVID KRUTH 1976-2018 Jonathan "Jon" Kruth went to be with the Lord on Friday May 18, 2018 following a difficult struggle with health issues. Jon was born in South Korea on July 30, 1976 and was adopted in 1981 by his parents, Maury and Lois Kruth. He came from the Holt International Children's Services orphanage in Seoul Korea prior to arriving in California. Jon was delighted to become a citizen of the United States. Jon was a very talented, athletic and brilliant son and brother. He was a graduate of Oak Ridge High School and Penn State University. Jon was a field sales engineer for Intel and enjoyed working with his many colleagues and clients. He had numerous hobbies and pursuits, including motorcycles, fine automobiles, Jeeps and sports cars. He admired former President Ronald Reagan. He loved to go trout fishing in the Sierras with his brother Steve and his Dad. He is survived by his parents, Maury and Lois Kruth, brother Steven Kruth (Tammy), sisters Kristina Gilliland (Scott) and Kim Kruth, many aunts, uncles, cousins, four nephews and one niece. He was deeply loved by his grandparents, Omer and Mary Liechty and Al and Annette Kruth, who preceded him. A Memorial Service to celebrate Jon's life will be held on June 9, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Discovery Hills Church, 4270 Shingle Springs Drive, in Shingle Springs CA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in honor of Jon's memory to assist families that are adopting orphans from Holt International Children's Services in Korea.
