Dan

August 10, 1923 - February 5, 2010

I was born August 10 1923 at 3:20am, 5 minutes before my twin brother William Henry Morgan. We were born on our mother’s birthday at home in Los Angeles, California. We moved from Los Angeles to Campbell when we were about six years old. I really enjoyed being a twin always having a companion.

1937 graduated from Campbell Grammar School. 1941 graduated from Campbell High School.

1941 started to work for Western Electric as an installer. I Retired from AT&T at 59.

15th January 1943 drafted into the army served in WWII, fought at the Battle of the Buldge, discharged December 23rd 1945.

Met Barbara Reese in July of 1947 and married January 1948, we had six children.

May 9th1959 sealed in the Los Angeles Temple. Barbara and I served a mission in the Atlanta temple.

April 30th1994 Barbara passed away and was buried May 5th 1994.

In April 2007 after 14 years of sadness I met Ardith, daughter of Henry Marty my home teacher. In January 2008 I ask her to marry me and on 29th of March 2008 we were sealed in the Sacramento Temple.

24th December 2008 I had a heart attack I returned home to my wife Ardith, I began and stopped dialyses. I fell in November 2009 and again in January 2010 being hospitalized both times.

5th February 2010 leaving behind my wife Ardith, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren I chose to returned home to be with my family and friends that had gone on before. 10th February 2010 I was laid to rest next to my first wife Barbara and our son Robert.
