Biography

Neil Lester Miller (nickname: Two Shackles) passed away at home on 23 July 2010
Neil was born 27 February 1934, in Sioux City, Iowa. Neil is survived by his loving Wife of 53 years Brenda Sharon Miller, Sister Coral Miller, 4 Children, Michaele, John, James & Miles and 9 Grandchildren, Jillian, Jenae, Jordan,
Johnathan, Rachelle, Hannah, Joshua, Emma & Aidan.

Neil was a second generation German who was a veteran of the U.S. Army and began his working career as a shoeshine boy at the age of 12. He was a 55 year member of the IBEW as a Journeyman Lineman working in CA, NV and Alaska. His hobbies included horseback riding, shooting pool, playing horse shoes, walking, and watching comedy. Neil was an avid reader, especially the history of cowboys and mountain men, and he was “Town Cryer” of Sleepy Hollow Estates where he walked daily, passing on tall tales and information to all the neighbors.
