Donald died in a motorcycle accident on August 27th while riding in his neighborhood in Placerville. He was born on July 20, 1962 in San Jose to Maureen McCarthy Korn and Earl H. Korn. He is survived by his loving sisters Diana Yanez-Pastor (John deceased) & Denise Perez (Ramon), step mother Sharon Korn & step sister Jacqueline Greer as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & cousins. As a youth, he played Little League on the "All Star" team. He graduated from Cupertino High School in 1980, worked in masonry, and was hired in 1991 by the City of Santa Clara- Parks & Recreation Dept. He was a conscientious worker & loved outdoors; he loved camping, fishing, model building, and crewed for midget cars for fun. He was a big animal lover. Donald was planned to retire in December to spend time at his 2-acre home. We lost him way too soon. A celebration of his life is planned for Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 12- 3PM (Henry Schmidt Park: 555 Los Padres Blvd., Santa Clara).
