On March 2, Elizabeth Cameron Eskite, 93, formerly of Mount Airy, Maryland, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, in Placerville, California. Betty was born on January 4, 1929, in Washington, DC, to John C. A. and Estelle Herbert Cameron. Betty was the beloved wife of the late Wilbur Henry "Bill" Eskite; loving mother of Richard Eskite, Susan Eskite, and Ross Eskite; dear sister of Mary Jeanne Gorton (Jeff), and Josephine Phillips (Donald), the late June Robinson, and the late John William Cameron; devoted grandmother of Cameron Eskite, Colin Eskite, and Meagan Potter; great-grandmother of Jenna, Elijah, Naomi, Sunny Potter, and another Potter great-grandchild on the way; and aunt of many nieces and nephews. Betty was very artistic, and she loved to read. Betty drove a school bus for Montgomery County Public Schools for 16 years until she retired to be more involved with her grandchildren. Betty's most outstanding characteristic was her unparalleled devotion to her husband and family. Services and interment will be announced at a later time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Betty's name to Snowline Hospice, 6520 Pleasant Valley Rd., Diamond Springs, CA 95619
