George O. Inman Obituary (1916 - 2016)

George O. Inman 99, of El Dorado Hills, CA and formerly of Fort Myers, FL and Terre Haute, IN passed away peacefully on April 22, 2016. George was born in Terre Haute, IN on September 16, 1916 the son of the late Marion Edgar and Sarah Emma Inman. George retired after 40 years from the Conrail Railroad in 1976. He enjoyed square dancing, riding bicycles and swimming. He also loved being outdoors in the sunshine. George is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Helen whom he was married to for 40 years. He later married Regina McCoskey and moved to Fort Myers, FL. Regina passed away in 2007. Shortly after George made the move to El Dorado Hills, CA. George is also preceded in death by two sisters Beulah Barbee and Evelyn Krockenberger and one brother John Inman and a son Kenny Inman. George is survived by his daughter Barbara Porter of El Dorado Hills, CA and a son George E. Inman of Kansas City, MO and a step-daughter Kay Isle of Austin, TX. George has five granddaughters and one grandson, Terry Bickel, Shelly Swiger, Brenda Cooper, Linda Maynard, Rona O'Rourke and Darren Inman. He also has two step-granddaughters and a step-grandson Rhonda Becker, Pam Hogg and John Isle. He also had several nieces and nephews and great and great-great grandchildren. Barbara and her late husband Mike enjoyed having her dad live with them and took great care of him until he passed.
