Leveret Gilcrest Duggan

Pearl Harbor Survivor, Leveret (Lee) Gilchrist Duggan of Folsom, CA died peacefully Sunday January 17th, 2016. Born on February 29th, 1924 in Los Angeles, CA to George and Roxie Duggan he is survived by his daughters, Jorjann (Jodi) Lawson and Lori Ramirez, his grandchildren David Lawson, Colleen Lawson, and Nicole Black, his great grandchildren Ashlyn and Samuel, his stepdaughter Nona Bogner and her family, and his sister Betty Aytes. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 57 years, Avonne. He was an award winning Photographer and an avid orchid grower. He was a proud member of the Folsom VFW, Pearl Harbor Survivors, the Elks, and the Folsom Senior Center. He took great pride in his vegetable garden and shared his bounty with family and friends. He will be greatly missed. An internment service for both Leveret and Avonne will be held Monday January 25th, 2016, 1:30 pm at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, CA.
