Margaret Pauline Dahms

Margaret, known as Marge was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, niece, and friend. You could see the pure joy radiating from Margaret when she spoke of her children Mia and Ricky, who made her very proud. Margaret, 46, of Elverta, California, passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021, unexpectedly. Margaret was born on January 30, 1975, in Stockton, California, the daughter of Barbara V. Martinez and Frank L. Martinez who has preceded her in death. Margaret is survived by her loving daughter Mia Dahms and son Ricky Dahms, brother Frank A. Martinez and ex-husband Rick Dahms, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Margaret spent her early years living in Germany, while her father served in the US Army. Margaret returned state side to live in Fairplay, CA. where she graduated from Pioneer Elementary School. Margaret attended El Dorado High School in Placerville, before relocating to Sacramento where she graduated from Escena High School in Sacramento. Margaret went to work after high school trying to find her niche working numerous jobs and decided to go back to school attending vocational school. After completing her school, she found her niche, working for Sutter General Hospital and continuing on with Sutter Health for over 20 years, until her unexpected death. Margaret loved so many and was loved by so many more. She had a smile and energy that with even just one encounter with her, you would remember her for life. Margaret was known for sense of humor, cupcake making, her Facebook posts and taking care of her family which she loved. Margaret will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A viewing and Rosary will be held on August 18th, 2021 at Green Valley Mortuary 3004 Alexandrite Drive, Rescue, CA. from 6:00pm -8:00pm Services will be held at the St. Patrick Catholic Church 3109 Sacramento St. Placerville, CA on August 19th, 2021 at 11:00am. Burial will follow the service at the FairPlay Cemetery in Fairplay, CA.
