Mark Ditore
June 15, 1960 - August 7, 2017
Mark passed away on August 7, 2017, in his home in Cool, California, after a hard fought, courageous battle with colon cancer. He was born in Sacramento on June 15, 1960, to Michael and Geraldine Ditore. He graduated from Mira Loma High School in 1978 and California State University, Sacramento with a degree in Computer Science, in 1993. Mark was an adventure seeker. He loved to try new and sometimes dangerous things. He enjoyed scuba diving, bungee jumping, sky diving, motorcycle riding, surfing, skiing, and flying ultra lights and small planes. He was a natural athlete and excelled at many sports including football, track, golf and could do back flips like a gymnast. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends and traveling with his wife, Debbie, to the ocean and other exotic places. Mark was an intelligent, strong, loving, caring, sensitive, fun, and humorous man. He especially loved dogs and through his life had many. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Ditore, brother, Richard Ditore and dogs Rocky, Rusty, Dojo, Cody, Abby, and Josh. He is survived by his wife, Debra Burns, mother, Geraldine Ditore, brother, Stephen Ditore, sister Deborah Ditore and Brandy, his dog. He was so loved by his family and friends and will be missed forever. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday August 27 at 12:00 noon at Green Valley Mortuary, 3004 Alexandrite Drive, Rescue, CA. A reception will follow from 1:00-4:00 pm.
