Matthew Jorge Johnson (11/20/2000- 06/20/2018) Matthew Jorge Johnson passed away on June 20, 2018 surrounded by family. Matt was a son, grandson, brother, friend, and student at Oak Ridge High School. Matt's ready smile and quick-witted humor will be missed by every heart he touched and forever remembered by those who love him. After a courageous battle with cancer, his bright, happy, beautiful soul has found peace. Matt is survived by his parents, Carolyn and Douglas, sister Joanie, grandparents Larry and Ellen Jorge, aunt Kim Hoy, uncle Richard Jorge, and many cousins. Services will be held on Thursday, June 28 11:00 A.M. at the Green Valley Mortuary, 3004 Alexandrite Drive, Rescue, CA 95762. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Make-A-Wish foundation.
