On the evening of October 7, 2020, Norma Kay Ketchum of Sacramento, California passed at the age of 81. Kay was born in Ashton, Idaho in 1939 to Norman and Lavon Hansen. She was one of 4 children. Kay attended High School in Pocatello, Idaho. She married in the late 1950's and moved to Sacramento, CA where she raised 2 children. Kay had a very satisfying career working for Sutter Health as an Administrative Assistant from the early 1970's until her retirement in 2006. She loved her family and was a tireless supportive presence for so many. One of her true passions for many years was with Ceramics. She loved people young and old, and cherished her opportunities to spend time teaching Ceramics. She was able to teach at her local Senior Center until earlier this year. Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Lavon as well as her brothers Bill and Ray. She is survived by her sister Amelia, son Greg (Lajunta) and daughter Julia. Kay is also survived by her 2 grandsons Cody (Cassie) and Tim (Natalie) and 3 great grandchildren (Canden, Emmery and Travis).
