On January 16, 2022, Rachael Anne Carnell passed away peacefully at age 83 in Eldorado Hills California, surrounded by family. Rachael, daughter of Albert Alexander and Martha Sanders, loving wife of Samuel Carnell. Mother of Theresa, Samuel, Andrew, and Daniel. Sister to Nancy, Patsy, and Albert "Bucky" Sanders. Grandmother to Aaron, Samantha, Rachel, Brendan, Shannon, Alexandra, and Brittney. Great grandmother to Liam. She was a nurse, cook, and "stay-at-home" mom. These three professions led to her passion of cooking, entertaining, opening her table to anyone interested in an exceptional meal, and ensuring everyone was always safe and cared for. She cared deeply for family, enjoyed celebrating life, and lived to the fullest despite many challenges holding her back.
