Rita Noreen Seabury Obituary (1927

Rita Noreen Seabury passed away at Mercy San Juan Hospital December 10, 2020 at the age of 93. She was born August 4, 1927 in San Diego, California, to Alonzo and Jennie Bradley. She moved to Sacramento in 1939 with her parents and two sisters. She graduated from Grant Union High School in 1944 and was a member of the Grant Union High School Alumni Association. She was a past president and lifelong member of the Ladies Auxiliary 4647 Veterans of Foreign Wars. She worked for many years at Shasta Linen Supply. For the past 35 years, she has been employed at Frith & Bradshaw Jewelers. Remarkably, a month ago she was still working part time, driving, and living on her own. She was a very strong and independent woman. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Bernadette Mogan and Elaine Garrett. She is survived by her son, George (Mikey), grandsons, Chris (Jonna), Phil (Julie), and David (Kristina) and 8 great grandchildren, 2 nieces and 2 nephews. Rita loved cats and dogs and had many during her lifetime. Those that wish to make a donation in her memory are encouraged to donate to her favorite charity, the Sacramento SPCA.
