Sylvia Lee Garnett Phillips Obituary (1938 - 2020)

Sylvia Phillips On the early morning of September 25, 2020, Sylvia Lee Garnett-Phillips of Las Vegas Nevada passed at the age of 82. Sylvia was born to Albert and Velma Garnett in 1938. She was one of five children and was born in Arizona. Sylvia settled in Northern California in the late 1950's was married and raised three children. Sylvia was always known as a very hard worker and her family was of great importance to her. Sylvia loved to laugh and always enjoyed family gatherings. Sylvia was a great cook and enjoyed caring for others. Sylvia loved the Lord Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, father Albert and mother Velma, brother William, Sister Patricia, and sister Shirley. Sylvia is survived by her husband Franklin, son Grover (Kendra), son Darren (Judy), daughter Robin, stepson David (Sherry), stepson Keith (Tammy), stepson Bruce (Laura), stepdaughter Linda and by her brother Charles. Sylvia is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way. There will be a service held for Sylvia at Green Valley Mortuary - Rescue/Cameron Park 3004 Alexandrite Drive Rescue, CA 95672 beginning at 11:00 am viewing, funeral service at 1:00 pm and a graveside service at 2:00 pm.
