Barbara Ann Collier July 28, 1932 - Nov. 05, 2021 Barbara Ann was born in Watsonville, California to Timothy and Ludvina Silvera Bordges. She was called to her heavenly home at the age of 89. Barbara Ann is preceded in death by her husband Mack L. Collier and their three sons Charles R. Collier, Thomas T. Chasen, Steven A. Chasen and grandson L. Bryan L. Sax. Barbara leaves behind her daughter Robyn L. and Leonard J. Sax; son Michael F. Collier, granddaughters Rachelle Sax Voight; Becky Gyorgy, Karrie Fieri, Stephenie R. Tilman, Colleen Grossman, Alice Collier, Brooke Collier, sixteen great grandchildren and four great-great grand children. Barbara and Mack moved from Fremont, California in 1976 to be closer to their family that had all moved up to El Dorado County. Barbara Ann was her own entrepreneur and well known as the Pickled Garlic Lady. Her family business of Pickled Garlic and Jalapeno Jelly was well known on Apple Hill in El Dorado County, which granted her the nick name Apple Grandma. Barbara's other interests include fishing and rock painting. She often was referred to as Fishing Grandma and Rock Grandma by her family.
