Patti Jo Kramer, age 61, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 7th, 2016, at her home in Shingle Springs surrounded by family. She was born in Sacramento on November 11, 1954 to Robert and Betty Parkyn. In 1972 she graduated from Del Campo High School. She married Matthew Duane Kramer on July 14th, 1973, at Dutch Flat Church. Patti Kramer was many things to many people: devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, caring daughter, beloved aunt, cherished sibling, and fierce friend. She was an immensely talented artist, painter, crafter, seamstress, and chef; when she put her mind to it there were very few things she could not achieve. Her crafted dolls and keepsakes were in high demand at local craft stores and family hearths. A lover of all animals, her dreams came true when she moved to her small ranch in Shingle Springs. Some of her fondest memories were of her horses. She enjoyed many trail rides and camping trips with her family and friends. Patti was a beacon of light and hope to all who knew her. Her loving and generous nature brought comfort to everyone around her. Eternally optimistic, her strength and selflessness helped make the world a brighter place. She is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years, Matt; sons Matthew and Ken; daughter Kristin; grandsons Kenny, Drake, and Jaden; father Robert Parkyn; sister Lexy Homen; brothers Robert and Lynn Parkyn; and many nieces and nephews. Family, friends and others whose lives were touched by Patti are invited to the Green Valley Mortuary, 3004 Alexandrite Dr., Rescue, CA at 2pm on Friday June 17th, 2016, to reminisce, remember and celebrate the life of Patti Kramer.
